A bit different in that it's a modern police procedural and not a period piece. it's also a great change of pace role for Mifune. 1001: A Film Odyssey is produced, directed and written by Chris, a librarian.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04803620768028761898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2746502363551524682.post-22225471453359841122017-06-24T18:06:09.661+03:002017-06-24T18:06:09.661+03:00It is indeed strange that this movie did not make ...It is indeed strange that this movie did not make the list. It's ridiculous that it isn't on the 1001 list. It's the biggest oversight on the List except for the omission of Safety Last. (But then, I get quite ranty that Million Dollar Mermaid isn't on the List. So I don't know how much credibility I have.) Sanjuro, the sequel, is also great, though I am guessing you've already lined that up to watch at some point.Julia Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09041411551162128922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2746502363551524682.post-3419564423775053652017-06-20T11:03:30.264+03:002017-06-20T11:03:30.264+03:00Thank you, Bea.
